Seven aggies were awarded graduate research fellowships from the National Science Foundation.
Senior mathematics student Nadine Jansen, senior electrical engineering and applied mathematics student Destenie Nock, Daniel Oldham a graduate student in civil engineering and Patrice Cagle, a PhD student studying cell biology earned the competitive graduate research fellowship.
North Carolina A&T graduates were also among the list of this year’s recipients. Three former students earned the fellowship during their first year of graduate school. Stanley Cantrell received a fellowship in computer science/engineering (Georgia Institute of Technology); Emmanuel Johnson received a fellowship in computer science/engineering (University of Birmingham) and Nasya Sturdivant received a fellowship in biomedical engineering (University of Arkansas).
In the 2012-2013 academic year two students, Amaze Lusompa and Darian Bridges received the fellowship. |
