Aggies Recognized at Black Engineer of the Year Award Conference

Engineering students from N.C. A&T State University traveled to Washington, D.C. to attend the 2014 Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) Conference. Awards were presented to two current students and three N.C. A&T alumni.

The BEYA Conference is a national venue and offers a broad range of opportunities to share, connect and celebrate the accomplishments and recognize the high achievements in STEM Education. With hundreds of talented students, professional, and leaders in attendance, the conference provides a talent-rich environment for recruitment, networking and professional development. Also in attendance are college representatives, corporations and thousands of elite professionals and students from across the country who represent the upper echelon of the STEM disciplines and careers.

A&T engineering alumni and students won the following awards:

Joi Carter - Student Leadership Award
