Career Fair Postponed

The 2015 Spring Career Fair has lined up a roster of high-tech, blue-chip and brand-name corporations. The event was originally scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26,has been rescheduled due to inclement weather.

The event is sponsored by the Office of Career Services. There are
137 employers registered for the event include a diverse range:

  • Aerospace companies from near and far, including Boeing, Honda Aircraft and Lockheed Martin;
  • High-tech leaders, like Cisco Systems, EMC and SAS Institute;
  • Fortune 500 heavyweights including Duke Energy, GlaxoSmithKline and IBM;
  • Financial giants like Bank of America, Fidelity Investments and VISA Inc.;
  • Food and agriculture companies, including Cargill, Land o’ Lakes and Mountaire Farms;
  • Manufacturers, like BMW, General Dynamics and Raytheon;
  • Major local corporations like Liberty Hardware, Samet Corp. and Volvo Group;
  • Brand-name consumer product and service companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Michelin and Toyota; and
  • Government agencies, from the familiar (U.S. Army, Department of Agriculture and more) to a variety of defense and intelligence agencies.

Along with them will be school systems, police departments and non-profit organizations.

The majors the employers are recruiting for cover the entire campus, including disciplines in every college and school. Twenty-nine employers are targeting “all majors.”

A&T’s career fairs are open to all degree-seeking students in any discipline and at any classification.  They are also open to guests who have received a degree from a four-year college or university.
