Thomas Conway ’71, ’76 has been named interim chancellor at Elizabeth City State University (ECSU).

In an act of solidarity, North Carolina A&T State University Chancellor Harold L. Martin Sr., University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Chancellor Franklin D. Gilliam Jr. and President Randy Parker of Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) signed a joint resolution in support of the $2 billion Connect NC Bond on Jan. 14, at the GTCC Donald W. Cameron Campus.

Jan. 1 kicked off the renewal period for the Aggie Athletic Foundation (AAF). Those interested in purchasing football seats before the general public and securing their seats from last season should submit a donation or pledge by March 31.

Week of Aggie Love
The Young Alumni Council invites all Aggies to participate in a Week of Aggie Love, Feb. 1-5. Start the week off at the Sit-In 56th Anniversary breakfast, then take part in several community service opportunities in conjunction with the celebration of the university’s 125th anniversary. On Thursday, show your Aggie Love on social media, and then cap off the week with bowling and lazer tag with your Aggie family and friends.

A&T Register Seeks Input from Former Editors, Reporters and Advisers
North Carolina A&T State University’s award-winning student newspaper is looking for 250-500 word essays from former editors or reporters, along with a picture to include in an online Timeline. Audio or video essays are also welcome. Essays should include the submitter’s name, role at the paper and how long the submitter worked at the paper. Submitters are free to talk about specific stories they worked on for the paper. Send essays to Kim Smith at kcsmith1@ncat.edu no later than Jan. 31.
The 75th edition of the AYANTEE celebrates the 125th anniversary

AYANTEE Ad Space Available for Alumni Organizations
The 75th edition of the AYANTEE celebrates the 125th anniversary of the university. Alumni organizations are invited to be a part of this special memento by purchasing ads. Half page ads for $100 and full page ads for $200 are available for purchase. Space must be reserved by Feb. 1, 2016. All payments are due online by March 1. Images must be 300 dpi and include the name of the organization. Full page ads may include a 300-word feature about the organization.
