For a span of 10 years Olatorera Oniru ’08 was swiftly climbing the corporate and financial ladder. From General Electric to Bank of America Merrill Lynch to Ericsson Sub-Sahara Africa, Oniru established a solid career.

Retired corporate affairs and business executive Hilda Pinnix-Ragland is the keynote speaker for commencement exercises for The Graduate College at N.C. A&T.
 
Campus Highlights
Undefeated boxing champion, daughter of the legendary Muhammad Ali, author and TV host Laila Ali will be the keynote speaker at N.C. A&T’s May 13 main commencement ceremony.

A&T Selected to Compete in Auto Drive Challenge™
North Carolina A&T State University has been selected to compete in AutoDrive Challenge™, a three-year collegiate autonomous vehicle competition.

Two legendary leaders of the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES) at N.C. A&T – Dr. Arthur P. Bell and the late Dr. Howard F. Robinson – were inducted into the college’s Agriculture Hall of Fame.

Belcher Runs The Fastest Time In The Nation
Overshadowing the entire 2017 Aggie Invitational at North Carolina A&T’s Irwin Belk Track was senior Christopher Belcher’s wind-aided 9.99 sprint in the men’s 100m finals on Day 2 of the competition— a time that has him tied for the No. 1 spot in the nation in the men’s 100m with Kendal Williams from the University of Georgia.

Aggie Distance Runners, Throwers Take Center Stage
With most of the sprinters sitting out, the North Carolina A&T men’s and women’s outdoor track and field teams relied heavily on the distance runners and field performers to put up numbers at the Duke Invitational and the Morgan State Legacy Track and Field Meet in Baltimore—and they did not disappoint!

Kimberly Brunson had a Senior Day that all seniors dream of and sophomore Mohagony Headen complemented her efforts with a huge day of her own as the North Carolina A&T softball team won both games of a doubleheader against Savannah State at the Lady Aggies Softball Complex.

Alumni Association Annual Meeting:
The North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association will host its annual meeting at 6 p.m., Friday, May 12, at the Greensboro Marriott Downtown located at 304 North Greene Street.  All alumni are invited to attend and hear updates from the board of directors.  Proposed amendments for the Constitution and Bylaws will be presented.
