Mr. Victor Tynes Sr. was born August 20, 1915 in Ivondale, Virginia and in 1940 he received his bachelor’s degree in biology from North Carolina A&T State University. After college, he was an instructor in the English and Biology departments and later served as the director of public relations for A&T. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Greensboro, N.C. He enjoys singing, going to church and being with his family.

Mrs. Sabina A. Gould was born June 15, 1917 in Halifax County, N.C. and in 1938 she received her bachelor’s degree in home economics from North Carolina A&T State University. After college, she worked many years as a home economics extension agent for Rockingham and Bertie counties. Of note, she was the first food and nutrition service director for Halifax County Schools and established the first cafeteria to serve hot meals. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and sharing the good news of the gospel.
