The cost to participate is $30. Those who attend at least 10 of the 15 classes will be reimbursed $25. For more information, contact Dr. Ruth Phillips at rgphilli@ncat.edu or 336-285-2926.

AggieAlert! required for class registration

North Carolina A&T State University requires all students to opt in or opt out to receive text messages from AggieAlert!—the university’s notification system for emergencies, life-threatening situations and inclement weather. Each semester, prior to the class registration period, a hold will be placed on student accounts until a decision is made to opt in or out of this alert system. (Keep in mind, there may be other holds placed on student accounts that are not affiliated with AggieAlert! These holds must be satisfied before students are allowed to complete the class registration process.) Faculty and staff members who have access to register students for classes must have the student present at the time of registration to make a decision about the alert system.

To register online, follow the instructions below.
1. Go to the N.C. A&T home page, www.ncat.edu. At the top of the page click on
    ‘Current Students.’
2. Click on the link ‘AggieAlert (via Aggie Access).’
3. Click on ‘Enter Secure Area’ and type in your user ID and PIN.
4. Click on ‘AggieAlert Registration.’
5. Follow the instructions on the screen: Enter your mobile device telephone
    number and submit.
