Office of Alumni Affairs Wants to Turn Myrtle Beach Blue and Gold

If you love North Carolina A&T State University football and the beach, the Office of Alumni Affairs has the perfect trip for you.

On Saturday, Sept. 1, the N.C. A&T Aggies will take on the Coastal Carolina University Chanticleers in Brooks Stadium in Conway, S.C. Alumni Affairs has put together a weekend trip to see the game and enjoy some time on the beach.

“The trip allows Aggies to come together and fellowship and network with their fellow Aggies, as well as Chancellor Martin and other athletic supporters for the first game of the season,” director of alumni affairs Leonora Bryant said.

The office has sponsored other trips in the past but this is the first time for a trip to the beach.

“This shows our support for our team as we turn Myrtle Beach blue and gold for Labor Day weekend,” she said.

For one price, event goers can enjoy three nights at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel, a lunch buffet for two on game day, two game tickets and transportation from the hotel to and from the game.

“Participants are responsible for filling out the registration form, their own travel to Myrtle Beach and we will take care of the rest,” Bryant said.
