Registration for the 8th Annual Rehabilitation of Racial and Ethnic Minorities with Behavioral Addictions (REMBA) Conference is now open. The conference entitled, “Building a Network of Recovery in Communities,” will occur Thursday, April 10-Friday, April 11, 2014, at The Joseph S. Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Faculty and students interested in learning more about the impact of addictions and trauma in communities of color are encouraged to attend this dynamic conference. Keynote speakers for the conference are Tonier Cain, subject and co-producer of the award-winning documentary Healing Neen and Antonio Fargas, acclaimed actor known for many unforgettable roles including “Huggy Bear” in Starksy & Hutch and “Doc” in Everybody Hates Chris.
