BOT Chairwoman Speaks at Harvard Business School Celebration

North Carolina A&T State University Board of Trustees Chair Patricia Miller Zollar, was the featured alumna speaker in April at Harvard Business School’s 50th anniversary celebration of women being admitted to the full-time MBA program.

The Harvard Business School African American Alumni Association participated in the event by profiling remarkable black alumnae—women who represent the broad mosaic of the HBS community.

Zollar is a managing director of Neuberger Berman, an independent asset management firm with approximately $200 billion of assets under management. She is a principal of the NB Alternative Funds of Funds team and manager of the NB Emerging Mangers Private Equity Fund. She co-headed and co-founded the Lehman Brothers Partnership Solutions Group (“PSG”), a Wall Street business focused on developing strategic opportunities with women- and minority-owned financial services firms. The innovation of the Partnership Solutions Group was recently chronicled in a case at the Harvard Business School. Before rejoining Lehman Brothers in 2004, Zollar spent eight years in asset management.

Zollar received her MBA from Harvard Business School and her B.S., with highest distinction, from North Carolina A&T. She is also a certified public accountant and a member of the executive leadership council.

She is also a board member of the National Association of Investment Companies and the Apollo Theater. She and her husband Al Zollar, a 2011 fellow of the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University, reside with their daughter in historic Harlem in New York City.
