The University Awards Committee is seeking nominations for the Human Rights
Medal that is awarded annually to individuals who have endeavored to
correct social injustice and have significantly contributed to the
betterment of the world. Candidates for this award may be local, national
or international. The winner will be notified in December and invited to
accept the award at the Annual Sit-In Breakfast program, which marks
anniversary of the A&T sit-in movement. The event is scheduled for Friday,
January 30, 2015. The recipient must be able to accept the award in person
at the breakfast program on the campus of N.C. A&T. To receive a nomination
