Janice Howroyd, founder and CEO of the ACT-1 Group, was honored in the business category. ACT-1 Group provides staffing, human resources and management solutions to Fortune 500 companies in many industries from its headquarters in Los Angeles and offices throughout the United States. Howroyd also is a member of the N.C. A&T Board of Trustees.
Clara Adams-Ender was honored in the government category. Adams-Ender is a retired U.S. Army brigadier general who served as chief of nursing at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, chief of the Army Nursing Corps and commanding officer of Fort Belvoir.
The inductees will be honored during the 30th annual Alumni Hall of Fame Weekend in Atlanta, Sept. 23-27.
