In honor of North Carolina A&T State University’s 125th anniversary, the Aggie Athletic Foundation (AAF), the official fundraising arm for Aggie Athletics, has introduced “The Drive to 125” with the goal to secure 125 donors in 125 days.

UNC Board of Governors Reinstates Admission to N.C. A&T’s Traditional Nursing Program
The University of North Carolina Board of Governors voted unanimously Dec. 11, 2015, to lift its suspension on admission of students to North Carolina A&T State University’s School of Nursing traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) entry option.

North Carolina A&T State University continues to lead the charge against peanut allergies, as evidenced by its recent $500,000 grant from the United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) for researching new immunotherapies.

Celebration Bowl Service Project to Help Atlanta Homeless
Aggies have the opportunity to show Atlanta what Aggie pride is really about by supporting the efforts of the Powerfully United Radically Equipped (P.U.R.E.) Youth organization to provide toiletries and blankets to the homeless population in Atlanta. Aggies are asked to bring travel-size toiletries such as soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner, as well as face cloths and/or individual sized blankets. Donations will be received during the AAF/Alumni Reception 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18 at the Omni Hotel in International Ballroom F.

AYANTEE Ad Space Available for Alumni Organizations
The 75th edition of the AYANTEE celebrates the 125th anniversary of the university, and alumni organizations can be part of this special memento. Half page ads for $100 and full page ads for $200 are available for purchase. Space must be reserved by Feb. 1, 2016. All payments are due online by March 1. Images must be 300 dpi and include the name of the organization. Full page ads may include a 300-word feature about the organization. Save the Date: Next Aggie Certified Alumni Recruiter Training Begins January 18
All alumni interested in representing North Carolina A&T State University at college fairs and recruitment events must be certified annually through Alumni Recruiter Training. To be certified, you must watch the entire training webinar and complete the assessment by the set deadlines. Watch the Alumni Times in January for more information and links to complete the training.
