Veda Spellman Stroud ’39
When the North Carolina A&T State University Homecoming parade starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday, one of the university’s oldest alumnae will serve as the grand marshal.

Diatra Langford ’04 was presented with the opportunity to compete in the Ms. Black North Carolina USA 2015 pageant in Garner this spring and she initially hesitated.

On Thursday, Oct. 22 and Friday, Oct. 23, the ticket office in Brown Hall will be closed. To accommodate increased sales and activity, ticket sales for the game and the have been moved to the Sullivan Street ticket booth near the main gate to Aggie Stadium.

Aggies Earn National Rankings
North Carolina A&T’s four-game winning streak including its 24-14 win over MEAC perennial power Bethune-Cookman on Saturday has reaped benefits. The Aggies are now ranked in both major Division I-FCS national polls.

AAF Announces “The Drive to 125”
In honor of North Carolina A&T State University’s 125th anniversary, the Aggie Athletic Foundation (AAF), the official fundraising arm for Aggie Athletics, has introduced “The Drive to 125” with the goal to secure 125 donors in 125 days.

During its annual meeting on Nov. 15, the Association of Public & Land Grant Universities (APLU) will present North Carolina A&T State University alumnus and former chairman of the Board of Trustees, Willie Deese ’77, with the 1890 Universities Career Exemplar Award.

125th Anniversary – 125 Service Projects
The university and the Office of Alumni Relations challenges all alumni to participate in a service project in celebration of the 125th anniversary of N.C. A&T. These service projects are to benefit an organization other than A&T. To be included in the count, your group must have your project approved. You are encouraged to wear your Aggie Gear and take photos for submission to be displayed on the website.

Heritage Collection Invokes Memories and Pride
For a limited time only, retired university logos and mascots will be available on special collectors’ items as part of the newly released Heritage Collection that honors N.C.
