The stage has been set for the 2015 edition of North Carolina A&T State University’s the Greatest Homecoming on Earth with some of the hottest acts in rap music set to perform at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Greensboro Coliseum.
This year’s concert, sponsored by the Student Union Activities Board and the Student Government Association will feature headliners Future and Wale as well as Young Dro, Rae Sremmud and Fetty Wap.
"Each year, the lineup is based on the Homecoming Survey we send out at the end of the spring semester to accurately assess the opinions of the student population,” said Emani Terry, the vice president of external affairs for the Student Government Association.
“Judging from the thousands of tickets that have already been sold to students and the general public, this chosen line-up we’re marketing as the ‘Thrill Seekers,’ will bring the anticipated thrill and high energy to the celebratory environment our renowned homecoming is known for."
Eight days of student events begin Sunday, Oct. 18, and includes a comedy show featuring Sommore and Cedric the Entertainer, a gospel concert featuring Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin and others, and pep rally. All student tickets are available at the N.C. A&T ticket office in Brown Hall.
