| In continued recognition of the university’s 125th Anniversary, North Carolina A&T State University is providing an opportunity for its students, alumni, patrons and community of supporters to showcase their “Aggie Pride” by making a financial gift to the university during its 125 Hours of Giving campaign to support student scholarships.
For 125 hours, beginning at 7 p.m., Sunday, April 17 and concluding at 11:59 p.m., Friday, April 22, supporters are asked to go online to make their donation. In honor of the 125th anniversary, contributors are encouraged to give $125 or their best gift amount to help the university reach its goal of $1.25 million in scholarships for deserving students. In addition, the community is encouraged to spread the word through the following ways:
- Share the news about the 125 Hours of Giving campaign with online friends via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram social media accounts.
- Use the hashtag NCAT125GIVE in order to connect with and engage other social media users in support of N.C. A&T
- Connect with N.C. A&T on Facebook and Twitter
The 125 Hours of Giving campaign is one of several commemorative events and activities that have been planned to celebrate the university’s milestone accomplishment during the 2015-16 academic year.
