North Carolina A&T State University will conclude its 125th anniversary celebration with a major fundraiser created to support the goal of raising $1.25 million for student scholarships. The black-tie, 125th Anniversary Scholarship Gala will be held at 6 p.m., on Saturday, April 23, at the Grandover Resort & Conference Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. Tickets for the highly-anticipated event go on sale March 7, and may be purchased by calling 336-433-5560. Limited tickets are available. The night will include Tony Award-winning performances presented by students, presentation of special legacy awards and entertainment by the live cover band EnVision.
With a commitment to this year’s campaign – by alumni, faculty, staff and the community, the university can reach its goal. Gifts made toward any scholarship will be counted toward the goal. Additionally, an anonymous donor has pledged to match – dollar-for-dollar – gifts designated to any scholarship fund from first-time alumni donors up to $125,000. Monetary gifts in honor of the 125th Anniversary can be submitted online via the special anniversary website.
Checks can also be made payable to N.C. A&T University Foundation, Inc. and sent to the following address:
