After Another Year, Here We Grow Again

A&T Alumni Association Chairwoman Pamela McCorkle Buncum ’81 took to the stage during N.C. A&T’s 2017 Spring Undergraduate Commencement ceremony and led 1,073 students in the historical oath inducting them into the association.

The induction was followed by cheers and shouts of “Aggie Pride” by students as well as family, friends, faculty and staff.

While the university is set to welcome the new 2017-18 class of students, just as many students completed their undergraduate and graduate studies and are preparing for their professional careers. While only a few weeks have passed since commencement ceremonies, held Saturday, May 13 in the Greensboro Coliseum, quite a few graduates have already solidified how their careers will begin.

Their journeys at Aggieland were as diverse as their academic studies. Blazing their own trails and charting their futures, each graduate persevered and can now proudly proclaim they are part of the 50,000 + alumni on record for N.C. A&T.

Take a moment to read about a few of this spring’s graduates, highlighting their collegiate careers and future endeavors.
