Happy 60th Anniversary to the Twin City Alumni Chapter!

The Twin City Alumni Chapter of the North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association, Inc. received its charter in June 1957. The charter members of the chapter were: Rudolph V. Boone, Sr., president; Joseph (Joe) D. Williams, Sr., vice president; James Graham, treasurer; Harriet Tobe, secretary and David Thompkins, parliamentarian. Additional charter members include Marian Faulkner, Charles Gadson, Hamlet Gore, Louise King, Romelia Mason, Dorothy Miller and Walter Pitts.

Throughout the history of the chapter, the focus has been centered on raising funds for scholarships for N.C. A&T by coordinating social events, such as the Aggie-Ram Ball and establishing the Twin City Chapter Alumni Scholarship in 1986. The annual scholarship is given to students from Winston-Salem. In addition, the chapter has assisted with student recruitment and community engagement in the Winston Salem area.
