Do you remember that moment that you first stepped foot on campus at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (N.C. A&T)?

Whether you were a freshman or transfer student, nervous or excited, you remember.

That day, that moment, was game-changing. You realized, as did I and the thousands of Aggies that came before us that something extraordinary was about to take place in the next chapter of your life.

No amount of preparation could impart in us the culture and spirit of the educational and social experiences that we would come to know at N.C. A&T. Holland Bowl, the student union, the strip, and the greatest homecoming on earth were a large part of those experiences that one can only get on this campus, at our university. As alumni, we exhibit a resounding joy wherever we are —be it North Carolina, the United States or anywhere in the world. We call that AGGIE PRIDE!

This year, the N.C. A&T Alumni Association is asking you to sound off. Be a change agent in the lives of current and future Aggies by creating opportunities for someone else to follow your footsteps to Aggieland. As an alumna and president of the alumni association, I look forward to what we can accomplish for our amazing university and for the students we serve. If we collectively share the commitment to take our university to the next level through our giving, we will have one more reason to be proud—because we have then made the experience real for future students who are just like we once were.
