Clear Bag Regulation for Athletic Venues

To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite fan entry into all athletic venues, a clear bag regulation has been implemented this year that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into these venues. The University Administration reserves the right to impose this regulation at any event.

Fans are strongly encouraged to only bring bags that are permissible. These bags include:

• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12 x 6 x 12.

• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar).

• Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand

• Diaper bags must be accompanied by a child (are subject to be searched)

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

• Purses larger than a clutch bag

• Coolers

• Briefcases

• Backpacks/ cinch bags/ fanny packs

• Luggage

• Computer bags/Camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size

Exceptions will be granted for medically necessary items, working personnel and media but are strongly encouraged to place in a clear bag for easier entry. These exceptions will enter through designated gates and be subject to screening and/or bag inspections. Exception to this regulation is the Game Zone during football games.

Without the gifts of alumni and friends, N.C. A&T would not be the exceptional institution it is today.
