The Program Planning and Development Committee of the Alumni Association is pleased to announce that nominations for the Alumni Awards are open. The nomination period for the 2020 awards will be from December 20, 2019, through February 7, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

The nominations are for the Howard C. Barnhill Distinguished Service Award, Julia S. Brooks Achievement Award and the Velma Speight Young Alumnus/Alumna Award.

The 34th annual Small Farms Week will begin Friday, March 20, in Cherokee County – the home of the 2019 Small Farmers of the Year, Harold and Nancy Long. Events in Cherokee County will take place at the homeland of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and will include a panel discussion among local farmers and a tour of the Long Family Farms and Gallery.
