University Police: Think Safety First During Homecoming
As the university prepares for our 97th homecoming celebration, the University Police Department is reminding all who plan to participate to think safety first. Events and festivities that attract large crowds also tend to attract crime. UPD partners with the Greensboro Police Department and other law enforcement agencies during homecoming to provide a safe and secure environment for all. UPD wants to provide homecoming attendees with simple steps that will protect their person and their valuables during this time. As you coordinate your activities with friends for each event, think safety first and include basic safety measures in your plans.
