Learn More about IRA Charitable Rollover
|
There is a sweeter choice. Rather than take the required minimum distribution, call your IRA administrator and ask them to gift all or part of the RMD to North Carolina A&T State University. Make sure the distribution comes directly to our mission and not to you. You can use your IRA for charitable purposes, if you are age 70½ or older. When you do, you do not have to pay income tax on the distribution, and you satisfy your RMD up to $105,000.
