Col. Trent H. Edwards
June 28 will mark the change of command for Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base in Alabama and Aggie, Col. Trent H. Edwards will be named the new commander of the 42nd Air Base Wing.

North Carolina A&T State University Chancellor Harold L. Martin Sr. has appointed Barbara Miller as vice chancellor for university advancement, effective July.

Dr. Barry L. Burks has been appointed vice chancellor for research and economic development by North Carolina A&T State University Chancellor Harold L. Martin Sr., effective  July 1. 


Wes Moore

North Carolina A&T State University, has selected New York Times Bestseller, “The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates” as this year’s Text in Community book for the year.

Chancellor Harold L. Martin Sr

North Carolina A&T State University Chancellor Harold L. Martin Sr. met with Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Richard Cordray and Domestic Policy Council Director Cecilia Muñoz and presidents and leaders from 10 colleges and universities who will commit to providing key financial information to all of their incoming students starting next year.

A team of three student journalists from the department of journalism and mass communication visited Havana, Cuba, in March, as a part of a week-long video production project. The goal of the team was to capture the people and culture of Cuba on video.
