North Carolina A&T alum Sonya Stewart has been named as one of 25 of the Washington Business Journal Minority Business Leaders.

The fourth annual Urban Education Institute, sponsored by the School of Education and College of Engineering, will be held March 23–24, in the Alumni-Foundation Event Center.
University Choir
North Carolina A&T State University Choir, under the direction of Maestro Travis W. Alexander, performed in concert at the White House on February 17.
Aggie Sports

On Feb. 27, Patricia Cage-Bibbs, women’s basketball head coach, became the first coach of an NCAA Division I HBCU to win 500 games when the Lady Aggies defeated Savannah State, 88-74.

The North Carolina A&T football team won four of its first six games in 2011 before having to play four straight games away from Aggie Stadium. The Aggies lost all four, bringing to a halt the momentum to a season with so much promise.
