As a young child and teenager, Ngozi Opara ‘10 was shy and felt she was “awkward.” Growing up in a very strict Nigerian household, the Washington, D.C. native felt her voice wasn’t one that people wanted to hear.

Blue and Gold Marching Machine
The North Carolina A&T Blue and Gold Marching Machine spent Fat Tuesday, Feb. 9, performing in the famed Rex Parade and participating in Mardi Gras activities in New Orleans, Louisiana.

On behalf of the Office of Alumni Relations and the Young Alumni Council, we sincerely thank and appreciate all alumni who participated in the first Week of Aggie Love. Your participation and service helped make the week a success by:
  • Completing 60+ hours of service with three 125th Anniversary projects
  • Providing classroom assistance at Wiley Elementary School
  • Packing over 500 bags at Out of the Garden Project for families in Guilford, Forsyth and Alamance counties

AYANTEE Ad Space Available for Alumni Organizations
Space is available for purchase for alumni organization advertising in the upcoming Ayantee. Half page ads are available for $100 and full page ads are available for $200. Space must be reserved online by Feb. 15. Ads must be emailed to ayantee@ncat.edu by Mar. 31. Please note that ads do not include a free copy of the yearbook. Books can be purchased separately through Jostens.
