First Lady Michelle Obama
First Lady Michelle Obama has been tapped to deliver the address for North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s spring commencement, Saturday, May 12, at the Greensboro Coliseum. The doors open at 7:30 a.m. This year, N.C. A&T will graduate more than 1,000 students across nine schools and colleges.

N.C. A&T Alum Awarded U.S. Dept. of Energy Postdoctoral Fellowship
North Carolina A&T State University graduate Dr. John Shelton, has been awarded a prestigious Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy (EERE) Postdoctoral Fellowship from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Cold Steel drumline of the Blue & Gold Marching Machine of North Carolina A&T State University
On Wednesday, March 28 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., the Cold Steel drumline of the Blue & Gold Marching Machine of North Carolina A&T State University performed outside the Battleground Avenue Quiznos to help drum up business.
Four North Carolina A&T State University students will travel cross country to represent the Aggies in the Honda Campus All-Stars Challenge quiz bowl championship March 30-April 4.

North Carolina A&T State University Track and Field athlete Everett Slocum finished first in the discus throw at the Wake Forest Track and Field Open over the weekend as the Aggies opened their outdoor season.
