USING TYPE

The way we use type is crucial to making our designs look thoughtful and professional. Use these tips to make sure your typography is consistent.

Leading
Line spacing, called leading, is critical to setting good-looking type that’s easy to read. Leading should be set at 4pt more than your set type size. For example, if your font size is 14pt, your leading should be set at 18pt.

Tracking
Correct letter spacing, called tracking, is needed to make the type easy to read. In body copy, tracking should be set to 20.
GOTHAM

Gotham is a clean and simple san serif font family with multiple weight options. The gotham typeface should always be used for body copy. Gotham may also be used for subheads, but should be all caps.
